Shelf-e is a SaaS platform that offers online shelf analytics services. It is configured as a service for downloading, analyzing, and presenting information contained in public retailer portals, for both default stores and regional stores when applicable. The downloaded information is organized by categories, based on the exhaustive download of all products with more than 20 attributes per product.

The downloaded information is processed for standardization, data completion, structuring, and storage of historical data for up to 13 months according to the service.

This platform was previously hosted on Windows Server on-premise, experiencing a high rate of failures and scalability issues.

Matrix Business helped us understand our migration options and deploy a solution over AWS which has progressively evolved. Our current architecture includes an efficient information management scheme, Amazon EC2 instances and an RDS service, designed to reduce costs, processing times, and refresh times of dashboards for end-users.
